A store sign helps customers distinguish your store from others.

If your store sign is minimalist, I think it’s more appropriate.

For that, it should be easily communicated to anyone on the road.

3. List your store in Google My Business

Google My Business gives you the ability to list your business location on Google Maps and local search results.

It communicates your business to a group of new customers online.

This will increase the foot traffic in your shop and convert a large percentage of that foot traffic into sales.
The reason is that they monitor your business online and come to your store with the intention of buying something.

To increase foot traffic setup Google my business profile.

4. Promote your business on Facebook

Facebook is currently the largest social media site in the world.

According to current data, by 2020, Facebook will have about 2.6 billion active users per month.

The best part is that you can target people who live in the area where your business is located on Facebook, who are interested in the products that your store sells, through ads.

For example, two or three days ago I browsed the internet for a frame design suitable for buying a spectacle.

Then as I was scrolling through my Facebook timeline today I saw ads for 3-4 spectacle shops in the 2-3 minutes I spent on Facebook.

The best part is that one of the spectacle shop in the ads caught my eye and if I buy a spectacle I will go to that shop first without thinking twice.

I took a moment to think about how this ad changed my mind.
That shop has brought me closer to others than anyone else through that ad.
So if you are an entrepreneur, I think not using this opportunity to increase foot traffic is a big missed opportunity for your business.

To promote your business on Facebook first you need a Facebook business page fore your retail store.
